    Windows 98 error

Just formatted and re-installed windows 98 second edition onto a mates computer. He's got an old EPOX mobo and a 6 gig hard drive. Since installing windows every time it boots up it keeps asking for the file "lpt.vxd" and i should put the 98 disc into a drive. Done this but it still won't take the file off the disc.
    Any ideas???
