    Special Amd64 Sale!

    http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=19494

Looks like AMD are going to make the festive season very joyful after all for all those who want a new processor and motherboard like me

I wonder what intel will do to counter this?

Probably slightly better suited to hardware as no links to retailers as of yet.

Cant wait to see how much they will drop by though, i really cant afford an upgrade yet, so they better not tempt me too much :/

Its a shame that it is only within a certain period. It really gives people an incentive to buy one though. I wonder how much they can drop the 3500 too now though. It is £189 at scan incl VAT. Maybe £130?

Prices are going to have to come down by a significant amount to push new sales - but I could take advantage of a 3500 drop to go 939 for the same price as 754 now. [Fingers Crossed].
