<50quid speakers (New or 2nd hand)

Anyone make any recommendations.....would like to connect them to the soundstorm digital output on my A7N8X Deluxe.

Only going to be used for "general" listening....getting a headset sorted for games!

    What can you recommend?

Edit: Forgot to say....would prefer them to be 2.1 as I don't have room for any more than that!

Logitech Z-640's are very good for the money (£49.99) but are only analog. You'll find it difficult to find speakers that have digital in , in that price range.

That's a shame....thanks for the suggestion. Anything in the 2nd hand market that I should keep an eye out for?

Just keep your eye out really. The analog ADDA units on the soundstorm arent that bad, might as well get a decent 2.1 set or whatever pleases.

I have been told these are great 2.1 speakers:

    http://www.unbeatable.co.uk/Search.a...o&recurse=True

They were 5/5 in reviews when they first released at £300, but now they are only £80 so they are superb value. But i dont think they are digital, cant imagine you will find digital.

I would like some more suggestions too as i may have to 'downgrade' to compact 2.1 speakers for uni.

Downgrade to compact? Yeah, if you choose a box room in a hall or something. I've just come from Coventry to Newcastle and have a huge 6m by 6m room to dump all my stuff in.

I dont understand, Do you go to newcastle for uni and are renting a large room

I dont think i have any choice, seems england is plagued by the 'lets make rooms smaller' concept everywhere.
