    A64 and PC3200

    Hi all,

I have some OCZ PC3200 EL 5-2-3-2 timings
    I can get around 240fsb @ 2.8-2.9 volts

What will this perform like on an A64 2800 Newcastle core?
Also what mobo do you recommend?

Does anybody have a 2800 and if so, what have you gotten out of it?

At least 1 guy has got over 2.6GHz with a 2800+ on air. He did it on a Chaintech VNF3-250.
It's all down to the luck of the draw whether you get a good overclocking cpu or not but most Newcastles seem capable of 2.4GHz on air.

Cheers BUFF - i've actually plumped for the DFI board. I'm so used to the Lan Party I have now, thought i'd give that a try!
