I've got some Corsair TWINX512-3200LLPT atm and I want to add another 512mb. I've found a stick of Corsair XMS3200C2PT but will that be OK to use in dual mode?

No reason why not - you might have to change settings in bios
So the C2PT will run with the same mem timings as the LLPT?
No, but the LLPT will run with the same as the C2PT.Originally Posted by Dragonb4llz
Do you know which versions the different sticks are?
Try and get another LLPT but yes they will work together

I've currently got a matched pair of 2 X CMX256A-3200LLPT and I want another single stick of CMX512-3200C2PT. I want to use the same mem type if I can cos I hear bad things about NF7-S v2 boards being picky about dual channel.Originally Posted by BUFF
but which revision of 3200LLPT have you got?
From the table below you can see that e.g if you have V1.2 LL then you want to look for V1.2 C2 as they use the same chips.
XMS/CMX/TwinX-PC3200C2 v1.1 Winbond BH-6
XMS/CMX/TwinX-PC3200C2 v1.2 Winbond CH-5
XMS/CMX/TwinX-PC3200C2 v3.1 Infineon Rev. B
XMS/CMX/TwinX-PC3200LL v1.1 Winbond BH-5
XMS/CMX/TwinX-PC3200LL v1.2 Winbond CH-5
O right didn't know there was any difference. Erm I looked on the sticks and they both say XMS3205v1.2 which is kinda strange :S
Not really - factory cockup with the label its rev 1.2 so CH-5 chipsOriginally Posted by Dragonb4llz
