The 120mm Alu Thermalright or the 92mm Copper? which gives best performance?

120mm thermalright with either a delta fan or 120mm panaflo :)
Im going to say the new coolermaster 6 thing. Many people have hit like 2.9 ghz with this cooler on a 3200 winchester. So I guess it has gotta be a good cooler
Yeah, 120mm Delta Focussed Flow and an XP-120. Nice performer.Quote:

One of these two will be going into my new system when I put it together... still waiting for Nforce4 boards :-(
Nope XP-120 with a quiet 120mm fan will provide you with the best aircooling for noise vs performance.
Over-clock do a great cheap fan thats perfect for the xp-120
XinRuilian 120mm Fan 0.18A
Adapter - Molex 4 pin
Voltage - 12V
Current - 0.18
Speed - 1700RPM
Airflow CFM - 65.12
Noise dBA - 30
Depth - 1"
Low noise - med CFM and works great :)
Basicly im after the best air cooling solution for a FX55
CPU - Artic Silver 5 - Thermalright XP120 - 120mm Delta Focussed Flow.
That fan will do 190CFM on full pelt.
Cheers, ive used the focused flow and will never agai lol, ill get the 120mm heatsink and whack on one of these 120mm Panaflo M1A's I have :)
Get a Delta 190CFM monster and a fan controller, then you have the best of both worlds - the ability to push as much CFM as you need and a way to keep it quiet when not gaming.
Or just buy a quieter fan, yes. :)
Vaul, don't you think an XP120 and a 190CFM fan is a bit of overkill on an A8V with a Winchester? Winchesters (and many newer A64s) don't care for volts very much and there is really no performance difference between an aircooled chip running at 25c vs 55c full load. Even if you were running an FX-55 it really wouldn't make any difference, so choosing your solution over say a Venus 12 or Polo 735 really doesn't buy you anything. It just cost more and is a pain to install IMO.
man i bought a 120 thermalite but there no way it fits on my msi neo2 plat or any other board that i know :x
