Help me with my SN85G4V2 IDE

    hi guys/gals

I am the proud owner of a shuttle SN85G4V2, I have all the parts on desk now. my last one the AMD 64 XP 3000+ burnt out so this time I have gone higher to a 3400+.

I have an IDE HD and I know nothing about ATA/SATA and RAID all I want to do is plug in my IDE ATA drive and install win XP pro 64.

Is this possible or do I have to install software first or will it run as a normal PC from start?

Just plug the HDD into the IDE cable, the cable into the IDE socket on the mobo. Simple as long as it's ATA not SATA
