    fan controller

anyone know of a good fan controller that can handle 12 fans (10x120 2x140) and 2 water pumps my akasa has had it I think fans struggle and pumps wont start .. had to put them straight on to psu .. I'm thinking it's the amps just renewed my fans to corsair 120's 2k rpm since then not to good ..

would like it to be as cheap as poss .. like most out there I'm skint ..

It's expensive, but the Lamptron FC5-V3 should do all that.
I can let you know when I finally get one...

They also do FCs with even more channels, up to 10 I think.

Seems he doesn't have too many choices, he also wants to connect pumps, that means at least 1.5A current supply per channel.

    Re: fan controller

I think the best bet is going to be to run the pumps off the motherboard and the fans off a controller.

now depending on the fans, the setup and the motherboard you may also want splitters, ie if you've got a pair of 12mm fans on a rad then connecting them via a simple Y splitter to a single channel on the fan controller so both are controlled as one would be good
