Shuttle Won't Detect Hard Drive

Just built my first Shuttle SK43G system and for some reason it will not detect the hard drive?

The CD-Rom is detected fine but no sign of the hard drive and im also
getting an error message saying 'floppy drive failure' even though i can see the floppy in the bios.

Ive tried every different jumper setting on the hard drive, im assuming it must be master, or cable select rather than slave as it's on a different ide than the cd-rom. Ive tired auto detect in the bios but nothing?

scrub that, fixed it. for some strange reason the hard drive didnt like the molex connecter i was using? or am i just being dumb ;)
