SATA power connector to molex convertor?
I have a PC Power&Cooling TurboCool 510 Express PSU, which comes with 6 SATA power connectors. However, the 8 provided molex connectors are proving too few for my needs. So, rather than using 2436873948673 molex Y-splitters, I'm wondering if one gets something like a SATA power connector to molex convertor? (And should I even bother looking for them here in South Africa?) Thanks.
They can exist. However, given that everybody wants to connect SATA drives when all they have are molex connectors... I can't see them being all that readily available.
I guess you could buy a few molex connectors, chop the SATA cables off and attach the molex's, providing you're not using those new fangled 3.3V jobbies.

I'm hoping to get away with this idea without permanently, ahem, modding my TurboCool, thanks.Would rather leave the 5 year warranty in place, thus my search for convertors. (This is also why the Delta fan said PSU uses is still in place. But then, it's capable of shifting 50cfm when it's needed, so I probably shouldn't mess with that. :/ )
hmm well, I dont know how easy it is to get male sata power connectors, I dont know anywhere that even sellsthe conector, let alone converter.
What Ive done with my psu, or will be doing, is cut off all the cables except the atx one, fed it into two part terminal block connectors. Ive only got a few items running like that atm, and they are ones that need lower voltages - pump and fan. Too lazy to do the rest atm.
