IPMI or VPro type solution for Z87 Chipest?

So i've found a great board for my mini itx build, and discover that intel have really gone to town on being a pain in the ass this generation.

I was really looking forward to having some kind of remote attachment to my machine, but it looks like vpro is only reserved for Q87 & business related mobos. Like wise, IPMI only tends to appear on server boards, both of which are going to cost me features on the Z87 if I go down that path.

Seems like it's going to have to be trade off time unless there is a sneaky way around. I dont think any kind of IPMI card is an option either though.

Any wizards out there been through this?

I've been here and came up (fairly) empty handed.

IMPI cards seem to be very system-specific, so there does not appear to be a generic IPMI solution.

The 2 options are:
1. Buy a motherboard/system with IPMI
2. Buy a rather expensive KVM

Thanks for replying mate, & in the other thread. I thought it was a fairly doomed scenario, lol. I'll just have to live without it I guess
