    Ipod?

Hi I am thinking of buying an Ipod for my girlfriends birthday. I need to know a few things.
    Does it support WMA tracks?
It's say usb 2.0 support and firewire, but my girlfriend has only USB 1.1 will it still charge of this and transfer files?
Also where is the cheapest place to get one?

    1. No.

    2. Yes, but file transfers (i.e. dumping music to it) will be slooooooooooower.

    3. Half a mo' - I'll have a look.

I think i may go down another road because she will want to play WMA's because most of the music she has is WMA, well at least half.
Yeah she say's it's to much money on her gift, but I want her to be happy and she say's she never really had a nice gift for her birhtday. She's Italian so I guess birthdays aren't celebrated over there like they are here, but I want this birthday to be special to her.

I mentioned the Mini as she is a girl and she may just like it better

Its not the best value but it does come in pink , not sure about those WMAs, have a look to see if the ipod mini's best competitor/alternative the Rio Carbon has wma support, its a classy looking machine and has received plenty of 5 star ratings

The Cowon iaudio M3 is supposed to be very good, supports a broad range of formats and looks pretty good as well:

    Amazon

Also, the iriver has won a few plaudits: Amazon
