Question Which NF7-S is the right one to buy?

Hey guys whatsup?! Anyways. As you guys told me a while back from clues and obvious problems that I need a new Motherboard. Well I only have $120 USD to spend on a new mobo and I Might as well just get another nf7-s, yet when I went to a promising website some of you probaly allready know as pricewatch.com, it showed over like 20 different modles for nf7-s! Whats the best nf7-s? I'm not trying to really save money, it just has to be $120 or under. I'm pretty sure mine is a V.2 or whatever i'm not sure? So anyways thats why i'm asking, to make sure I get the "Better" model.

    Thanks always and forever guys!

get the NF7-S V2.0 or perhaps the AN7.
Do not get an NF7-S2 or NF7-S2G.

It's the NF7-S V2.0 you want, don't fall for the old NF7-S2 trick.

Another vote for NF7-S revision 2.0 here

    The others are not a MATCH for this board at all. The rev 2 has it all ;

    SATA
    Soundstorm
    Overclockability
    Stability

Ignore the newer revisions and go for the tried and tested - many people here ( me too - I have a few of them ) have the NF7-S and never hear a peep out of people with any issues at all

Only thing i can fault is the crap NB Fan, get yourself a Zalman Passive sink when you order it, also dodgy temperature sensors, apparantly i'm at 70°C I know people over at WACC who've killed so many of these boards to make overclocking BIOS', check out their Hardmandu BIOS.

I am not sure but is this the "good" one? If it is, it must of gotten a bit cheaper since the last time I saw and baught it lol.

Also, for the Zalman fan, where can I get one? Can I order it allready on the mobo? Last question, is it hard to put on?

The Zalman isn't a fan - it is a passive heatsink.

You will probably have to disable in BIOS the board looking for an rpm signal from the cpu fan header.

Another alternative is to use instead

Well, it's quieter & no moving parts to break.
Apparently lots of folks have had their fans stop but I've had 2x NF7-S V2.0s for 2 years & both ofmine are still running.

The Vantec hsf is better because the hs part is copper rather than alu.
