Recharging docks are pretty clunky, old hat these days.

Check out the Logitech G700s (or the older G700, if you like the price better).

It has a tiny USB wireless dongle receiver to use in wireless mode, which can be handily stored in the battery compartment, or is small enough to leave plugged in to your laptop/PC/whatever.
It has a microUSB to USB cable that connects directly to your PC, which serves to both carry the data and to charge the mouse as you're using it. So if you're running out of charge in wireless mode, you just plug the cable in and carry on using it, letting it charge in the background.
It even runs off normal AA batteries (rechargable one comes inclued) if you find yourself caught short one day.

It has a zillion other cool extra features, like additional buttons, profiles, macro and script storage, adjustable DPI, and so on... but I'm not sure what else you're looking for from a mouse.

Id also recommend a g700 - had one before I got the naga hex and it was a really solid one.
