    small 2.1 speakers

can anyone recommend a set of 2.1 speakers that have a small sub as am going on holiday for 3 weeks and want some decent speakers to take with me. The normal desktop speakers I have found all sound too tinny and tend to distort easily at mid volume.

I thought getting 2 satellites with a sub will give better sound but sub needs to be small to fit in suitcase. any ideas?
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.

reason I want speakers is because I am staying with my sister and her family and I will be using the speakers a lot because I will be entertaining my nephews who are into music.

if money isn't too much of a problem, get 1 or 2 bose speakers. Probably won't need a sub as they're awesome speakers
