Integrated Speakers in PC like a Laptop

A laptop has an integrated speaker. I was wondering if it's possible to enable integrated speakers on a PC or is there an internal card, etc i can buy that does that?

All I'm using my PC for is to use the Elgato Game Capture HD usb device to record satellite TV. If you don't have a line out cable connected to the PC and external speakers/mini system then the Elgato shows a popup saying no audio is detected. I don't care what the audio quality is like, I just need something connected to stop that popup.

Do you not have an integrated sound chip on the mobo? Or are you saying that you do, but because it's not detecting a device it's complaining? If so, couldn't you just whack a cheap pair of headphones in?

I would hope there's a software solution though!

to me this sounds like a driver issue

98% of motherboards will have audio built in if not then they normally supply a sound card to get you started

    -- edit --

sorry it seems i misread what you was asking if you dont need the audio stream its self then just connect some headphones that will get rid of popup

the only integrated pc speaker i know of is the bios speaker for error codes you can get monitors with speakers built in but not pcs its self its just a waste imo if they did that they be small and crap just like laptop speakers
