Medium high range build for gaming
First time building so just wondering if all the parts listed here are the best I can get in a £700 budget
Cpu: Intel i5-4690k
Motherboard: Asus z97-k
Graphics: gtx 770
Ram: 8gb gskill
Storage: SSD Samsung 120gb EVO and a WD 1tb 7200rpm
Case: mid tower
No extra cooling systems
Also debating if I need a WiFi card or if I should just stick to cable
Re: Medium high range build for gaming
Oh also going to use a corsair 500w power supply
Re: Medium high range build for gaming
Lokks pretty solid to me, however i would try and go a little higher on the PSU just so you have some head room and no don't go wifi on the system stick to cable :)

I disagree. He already has loads of headroom assuming a decent supply with enough amps on the 12V rail.
Re: Medium high range build for gaming
Is it a CX series?? I would get a better PSU. Also the GTX770 tends to be quite overpriced,so I would go with a cheaper R9 280X or alternatively an R9 290. However, remember both AMD Tonga and Nvidia Maxwell are launching in the next month or so too. I would also go with a Crucial MX100 as they tend to be cheaper than the Samsung drives and have more storage for the price?
Do you intend to overclock?? If so you need an aftermarket CPU cooler. If you don't intend to,get a non-K Core i5 or a Xeon E3 1230 V3.
What case do you intend to use??

I'm thinking about one of these SSDs myself, here's a review.

Definitely, I picked up a 290 for ~ £20 more than a 770 but it performs far better.
