    Basic browsing pc

Ok im looking for advice on building a pc just for browsing the net and email, nothing powerful wont be playing games or anything else, how much should i budget for without a monitor or case, im just looking at a cpu, motherboard, heatsink, hard drive, power supply, cd drive think I have the rest (network stuff etc)

    I was thinking around £100

    Any advice gratefully recieved

    duno, p2 300, 2gb hdd? 128 ram?

that would easily browse, yet not play games, still 300mhz isnt too painfully slow

should be able to get something for 50ish for a base?

can't build a full machine new for that, but can get pretty close. pc chips do a mATX board with integrated 1ghz via c3, add a single stick of pc2100, an excelstor hard disk, that's about £100.
