    Replacing a Logitech G15 keyboard

My faithful G15 keyboard is reaching the end of it's useful life, the spacebar is starting to stick and fail to return and is making a sharp clattering noise each time it's used as the force resistance just isn't there anymore.

The question being, what would people recomend as a good replacement? My main concern is comfort, as I can easily spend 10-12 hours working with my PC and playing games. With my desk layout, that means be able to lie flat, and any wrist support must be removable.

I like having the LED backlights, as they come in handy if I have the light off so I don't disturb my partner, though the macro keys have pretty much gone to waste, only storing my email addresses in them for online form filling. The display built into the keyboard is less use now I don't game online, but was a nice feature to have.

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!

No idea what the switch type is. If you have mechanical maybe you can replace the switches. The clacking could be reduced with rubber rings.

Hukd have suggested bargains. It may be worth visiting a large PC world. Vendors sell their keyboards in boxes where you can try pressing some keys. Great fun for 3 yr olds too!

    Logitech G19!!

All the same features, 12 G-Keys, full colour LCD screen with built-in system monitoring features and full media playback, flat lying, removable wrist rest, 3 profiles, all keys assignable to macros, quiet rubber dome switches, etc etc.

I have one and love it to bits... as I'm sure you can tell!!

The newer versions are 'spensive as hell, but the older all-black variants are around for cheap and don't have the weird two-tone colouring that they applied to go with the new S revision of their gaming mice.
That's the *only* difference between them, near as I can tell.
