I've had 3 Enermax's only one was able to provide a stable 12v line.
I've had 1 Qtec, it went up in flames taking with it the m/board & cpu
I'm using a Antec True Power 480w, it looks boring & its rock solid
I'm using a ThermalTake Silent Power 480w, it looks purty & works well

Hmm. Just hope it's not "out of the frying pan..." time. I didn't think Jeantech made PSU's - I know at least one place that puts Hiper PSUs in Jeantech cases...

No sympathy, you only combine quality components with quality components, if you had spent an additional £20 or so on a decent brand renowned for quality then you'd of saved yourself a lot of grief, <edit - dont get personal>

Ive only delt with a couple of Jeantecs, but they seem to be ok.
They certainly aint Antec / TT / Targan ect quality, but ive not run into issues with them, and voltages seemed stable. The systems they were in though were just stock ones, and not even too powerful at that, so what ive just said is from my very limited experience with them.

Im pretty gutted about the hiper though, 100% sure it was the PSU ?
    Sucks either way

Almost 100% m8 as i didn't change anything else so either it was that or pure concidence that the hard drive decided to suddenly stop working....
Yeah I was gutted, expected much more of Hiper, apparently a trusted Athlon 64 FX 53 Partner... if AMD partner with PSU's of this build quality, I'd love to see the ones they disapprove of...

I have a Dual Fan Q Tec 450 Gold, Its really quiet and I have had no probs with it at all since I got it around 16 months ago, no complaints at all. Only cost me around £30 also, served me well. Will be upgrading it in the new year but for the time being its fine.
