Check your ram is alawys a good first port of call, and check temps.
Thanks Marcvs. How can I check my RAM? No physical problems and its properly seated and all other functions, like photoshop, are fast. It would seem to me like its something windows related?
What Antivirus are you running? I've seen AV cause this kind of issue.
memtest x86
I doubt it's ram related. If it's a HDD your saving to (and not the SSD) I would look at power saving options (does a immediate subsequent folder create also have a delay?)
If it's all on the SSD, make sure your running in in AHCI mode.
Also, if it's Windows 8/8.1 then there is AV built in...
How's memtest doing, any results? Check also the HDD (SMART and surface test). And the last suggestion about power saving options is also valid.
The last option you should choose the install new window.
Hi guys, I ran 4 pass memtest and no issues.
AHCI is on. Samsung SSD is also in rapid mode and fine. Power is set to high performance.
An immediate subsequent folder also has a delay...
its so annoying!
