I've ordered a very similar setup, except I'll be using a Tagan 480W.
The TP380 only has 6 molex connectors and 18A on the 12V rail. Plus it doesn't have PCI-E connectors, etc. It's a PSU for yesterday's computer - I don't think it's gonna sit happily with tomorrow's...
Yep Tagan is a great choice and thorsson you have choose well in replacing the psu

Nope it requires a power adapter to work properly as the AGP/PCI-E connector doesn't provide enough juice!

Every computer componant should get power from your power supply, you can't plug them into the mains... If you want your power supply to power an SLI setup then I'd recommend something similar to the Tagan 480W PSU, as it's the one they used in the Hexus SLI reviews and had no problems with. The Antec NeoPower is also a great PSU from what I've if you can spend a bit more for it.
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.
does the tagan have a braided mobo cable?
i was going to get a enermax psu for this
asus A8N SLI
6600gt
3000+ winchester
but now i find out that it doesnt have pci e connectors! argh! i though i had it al sorted out, is tagan a good make? as good as enermax?

Yep Tagan does and depending on revision iirc it has some others ie ATX 4 pin P4 plug braided as well
