Mechanical Keyboard Sampler
I found this item on Amazon recently, & thought it might be of interest to anyone thinking about buying a mechanical keyboard with Cherry switches, but not knowing which colour key would suit them best. If you can't find a shop that has keyboards available to try out, this might be the next-best option. Of course what you do with it once you've chosen the type of key you prefer is your own choice! Maybe they can be found going cheap on Ebay?!

Re: Mechanical Keyboard Sampler
There was a similar one (here on on the 'other' forum) doing the rounds.
The idea was that once one person was done with it, the next person just paid postage and it was sent on, and on, and on, and Ariston....
Re: Mechanical Keyboard Sampler
Good, but doesn't give you an insight as to what typing is like on it, only how it feels :/
Re: Mechanical Keyboard Sampler
I've just found a more extensive one: http://www.keyboardco.com/product/ch...ro-sampler.asp
I bought it, and I'll have a look at the keys and let everyone know what it's like :)

It probably won't - from past experiences, I'm usually even less decisive! :D
Re: Mechanical Keyboard Sampler
Does every mechanical keyboard give you the choice between all eight different switches, or are they limited to only two or three?
Re: Mechanical Keyboard Sampler
Not all - some companies do offer all the different switches (Ducky being one of them I think) but due to the majority preferring the standard red blue and brown, they tend to stick to those.
Re: Mechanical Keyboard Sampler
I bought a K65 RGB today... Really like the red switches!
I'll have to return the keyboard though, as I can't afford it (only bought it to try the switches).
