    Help with choosing RAM?

Hi Guys! Ive got an A64 3200 on an nf3 platform, currently running 512mb ddr500 that ive been told loads of times is not suited for my rig, anyway, am going to probably go and buy myself 2x512 dimms - what do people suggest?? pc3200 or 3500??? OCZ, Corsair etc??

    Thanks!

Will you be overclocking? Price range?

Well, ive got pretty good water at the moment - so i will try and over clock. I had this chip in a vapo XE with the DDR500 but could only get it up to 2.45ghz stable (up from 2) so im thinking maybe the chip isnt a good clocker really...

Havent really thought about a budget yet - was going to see what stuff was suggested - but it wont be a silly money budget!!

What motherboard? Not all A64s like all memory. You said 3200+, but not which core or MBD. Are you running a Neo2 with a Winny?

No, its a clawhammer on a gigabyte k8ns nf3 250 - dont think the mobo is good for clocking much, had it about 7 months and bought it because it was cheap cheap! So maybe buying DFI s754 offering

The K8NS is not bad if you vmod it. The DFI is better if you don't want to solder.

TCCD will probably be pretty good on the K8NS. Mine liked BH-5 and BH-6 with lots of volts.

SO which would be a good brand/speed to go for then? Im guessing something like Corsair TwinX 4400PT Platinum is for P4's really?

Yep. I'd go for some Corsair PC3200 XL Twinx stuff (5-2-2-2). I've had good luck with that. Just about anything with TCCD chips would work well though.
