Running 2x Graphic Cards in Same PC?

Currently I have a x800 Pro graphics card in the AGP slot, my question is, is it possible to run for example a second card in the pci slot, a ATI PCI AIW Card.

    - run the standard display on the x800 and just use the composite in features of the aiw card or tv

    - or, could i simply switch between displays under display properties when i wanted to use either card?

    - or, any of this not possible and i have to get a seperate TV card, which I don't really want too

    thanks for any advice

Yes it will work, hence how some people have done the PSONE LCD mod and having it running with an already dual monitor setup.

A fair few people have commented however that AIW cards' TV features won't work if the card is set to the secondary adaptor, so you'll need to switch it between games and TV

    Personnally I run a 9700Pro AGP, 9200SE PCI and a Hauppage WinTV
Now go away before I taunt you a second time.

Id go for getting a TV card personally.

Running dual cards works fine, but Id be weary about the AIW features if its not the primary card.

Surely you could sell the AIW and easily buy a TV card tho...

I haven't got the AIW Card yet, its only going to cost around £60 and I know the quality is excellent, problem with seperate TV Cards is the quality really does range from crap to excellent, but finding an excellent card for £60 is almost impossible, I think the decent wintv ones cost around 200 pounds.

but I wouldn't mind running both cards seperate, just as long as I could switch between cars easily without much hassle.

its the hauppage range of cards, the better versions of those are close to 200, does the card you have support video in/video out?

The nebula card is a Digital Terrestial TV card.

What do you wnat to do with the TV card exactly? If its just the VIVO capabilities your looking at TV cards wrong.

basically, I had AIW Cards before, 9800se, but I wanted something extra for gaming after that card went faulty, so I got the x800, but still needing a TV Card, with video in/video out also, basically its for several things, recording from normal TV, recording from Digital TV and also from my consoles, the digital tv and console both connection through the video in.

Basically, having had the aiw cards before, the quality has been excellent, and I've had other tv cards around 70 pounds and they've been really poor in comparison, unless I can find a TV card that can record full mpeg2 at DVD quality at 8mb a sec that supports the above, AIW seems my best option.

well I bought the AIW PCI Card

    issues so far

WDM drivers won't install with the x800 pro card in the machine, any way to get round this?

also, the PCI Card won't get to the windows login screen when the bios is set to booting from PCI slot.
