    The instruction manual is your friend.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    I'm 99% sure its blue blue for dual channel with the two colours denoting the two serperate sets of dual channel slots.

    well looks like that vipers lair is WRONG!

    "Unfortunately it's easy for one to get confused when installing memory into the K8N Neo2 Platinum. After reading the manual carefully, memory must be installed in slots one and two, or three and four to enable dual channel memory support. If all four slots are used then the pairs must be one, two and three, four."

    I tried it there way blue blue and it only runs in single mode! lol... Looks like some one should fix this! Oh, and the manual is even more confusing..

    If that's the Neo2 Platinum (which is what it looks like) then I'm sure that it's Green and Purple (no blue slots AFAIK although the colour is questionable), which makes Viperlair(?) idiots?!

    Here's the MSI page:

    And yes you have to read it carefully - my brother got it wrong and wondered why Battlefield was running like a dog.

    That's why I don't read reviews. I buy everything and test it myself. Reviewers are often Noobs and even more often they have an agenda that has nothing to do with honesty.

    I read more than one review normally at least 4 or 5
    I always make sure that Hexus has reviewed it as well.I know Hexus reviews are trustworthy honest comments with no(well very smallish lol) fan boy attitudes.You must have money to burn if you never take the view of reviews onboard.

    I respectfully disagree.

    All reviewers are funded (at least in part) by the companies whose products they review. I know because I am one of them. No matter how well-meaning a reviewer is, they are only human. Humans like to eat regularly, something that is very difficult if they have no money, which is common if certain people say the wrong things about certain companies products who may not be as forthcoming with hardware to review in the future if certain people are rubbed the wrong way by a review.

    A person is much better off reading forums (like Hexus and XS.org) to see the experiences of actual users. That is really the only way you will get a totally honest review. Even then sometimes people can't be trusted, but there are many overclockers who have built a reputation for being honest. Also, you can see their results firsthand on the ORB.

    If anybody wants to find out what's fast they need only go to Futuremark.com and check out the ORB. There you will see the fastest most reliable hardware on earth.

    Crapshot:

    Quite the contrary. I don't have the money to burn building systems for customers that are not 100% fast, stable AND reliable. I can't afford the support hours, RMAs and bad reputation. I can't trust my business to some reviewer because I don't know their level of skill, nor do I know their agendas. To trust a review could be the death of my business. I owe it to my customers (and myself) to know what works and what doesn't, and the only way for me to know for sure is to build it.

    That's the thing with reviewing PC stuff. There's software, hardware, electronics... you really need knowledge of it all, otherwise you shouldn't attempt to touch on a field that you aren't sure about.

    Very true. You don't need to be an expert in all aspects relating to computers but you should be an expert in the one you're speaking to and should have some knowledge of the other aspects.

    Yes, that's exactly my point.
