Is 380w power supply is enough

I have just bought a complete system, the configuration is as follow:

Antec Sonata Piano Black Quiet Case - 380W TruePower
+ additional 1 PCI graphics card (ATI Rage 2) + 1 network card + 1 modem

I like the case since it looks cool and near quiet. However, do you think 380W is enough for my system? TruePower is a good brand so the quality is ok I think. Do you think I need to upgrade the PSU?

Well technically it is ENOUGH...but...depending on how many fans and lights you have you could be working the PSU too close to it's limit for the 12v rail. The 380 has a max of 18A on the +12 rail. This is adequate, but I like to see closer to 22A there. My Enermax EG651P-VE-FMA 550W has 36A on the +12 line. Go for the Antec 480 if you want to be sure you have no stability issues related to power.

I have only 1 fan (120mm) of the case + 1 additional 120mm fan I bought. No light will be used. I am not sure about the technical information (18A, +12 ...) What do you mean by stability issues related to power, does that mean if I play games a lot, the pc will shut itself down or it will damage the component?

I got the Antec Sonata and it's OK but nothing special and noise was still too much IMO so I changed the 120mm fan and added a speed controller since that seemed to be making the most noise in my system. I would rather

About the same cost or just a little bit more but you get the fan controllers. No fancy HDD clips & no door if you like that sort of thing. I find both pretty annoying TBH but it's personal preference.

The 380 is enough but with power supplies it's good to have reserve power. You don't want to be running at 80-90% load 24/7. Spend a few extra $$$ and get the 480. That way you can upgrade without PSU worries.

While I like Thermaltakes CPU coolers I am not a fan of their PSUs. I'd go with Antec, Enermax or PC P&C.
