    how do you dea with loose usb connections?

    The leads from my 2 1tb Samsung portable HD's keep cutting out , are there any ways round this other than cloud / going wireless ?

    the leads, or the ports? If you have multiple different devices with the same issue then it suggests that either you have issues with the ports, or issues with the way you're treating your USB cables.

    Ports cut out sometimes but my netbook is 7 yrs old and not exactly quality brand - same thing happened with my other ext storage devices too , my dongles , mouse etc never cut out its always the ext hds..
