Well I have a few of these kicking around
2 * 512MB
1 * 128MB
1 * 32MB
1 * 64MB
Anyway - I was wondering - could I somehow do something silly like make them in to a RAID partition on USB? maybe in Windows and install an OS on it?

Meaning if I used CF -> IDE I could do RAID easily.
I suspect I could do this with SoftRAID - I wanna try though ;)

U could have OS's on them tho I would of thought, QNX is a fave :D

Theres a guy that did this on Mac OS X, started with floppies and then tried memory sticks: http://ohlssonvox.8k.com/fdd_raid.htm
And heres the instructions to make windows xp do software RAID 5:

Unfortunately, it won't boot off a soft RAID array :(
