... Right - I would like to put a TV card in a system and have a Sky feed in to it.
I would like this to stream/buffer the TV signal - and then this can be watched via another system on the network.
Is this possible? Is it ieasy?

Sorry has to be wallmountable
Are you asking if you can stream video captured from a TV card across your network to another PC?
Pretty certain you can do this with the Nebula DigiTV fairly easily - I read on their site that their software allows streaming over LAN, but the card will set you back a pretty penny and I don't know if there are other cards with a similar feature.
It would also depends on how you captured the signal - got a funny feeling there's only mono sound on the component in on the card though, but that is something I'm not sure about.

http://www.videolan.org/ - This can perform various streaming tasks. Personally, I just use it for video playback, but I think it's a great program.
Don't u need sky card to wiew sky Tv, so how u gonna put ur sky card in the pc
doesnt sage tv do all the streaming... i havent tried it but i think i remember reading this
I would presume he already has a sky digi box but he wants to wire it into his PC instead of his TV (which can be done) Then stream it across his network.Originally Posted by speedy_s
