SSD can't be formatted by system
The 32GB SSD can't be formatted now! it was replaced with 128GB SSD from my alptop. then I bought an USB enclosure for the 32GB so that I can use it as an external drive.
My sister used it last week but when I copy a folder to the disk last week, it can't be opened. what's worse it can't be formatted! the error message is "Windows was unable to complete the format".
My computer is running Windows 7 64 bit.
How to disable to error and open the drive?

Remember the number of you '32 GB SSD', type 'select disk x' where x is the number of your 32 GB SSD, then Enter >
Once your 32 GB SSD is selected, type 'clean' then Enter >

Now you can manage your 32 GB SSD in the Disk Management as much as you like :)
Re: SSD can't be formatted by system
It's possible that the SSD is broken and you can contact its tech support you help you fix the issue. Also you can try some solutions frequently advised on the Internet such as:
1. Format or recreate a partition on the SSD with Disk Management.
2. Try command prompt which is advised by the first reply and it's very good.
3. check bad sectors for the SSD. Since bad sectors do not allow read or write actions and formatting involves writing operations. Thus formatting won't be completed if there are bad sectors on the SSD.
If all these solutions can't solve the "Windows was unable to complete the format" problem, then you'll have to contact tech support team of the SSD for help.
