Personally I'd go for the 3500+ and use the cash i saved to buy some better speakers.

It shouldnt be too tricky to clock the 3500 to 3800 speeds or higher as well

All looks good to me - decent components all round, that rig'll be brilliant!

Aye, I agree with rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishey, i'd buy a 3500+ and spend the saved cash on something else (like better speakers)

Appart from that, looks like a lovely rig, what do you mean, is this alright for a gamer like me?!?!

Alright, that's a brilliant set up mate, you have one of the most powerful Gfx cards in there!

nothing specifically wrong with them, just I'd go for surround - assuming you've got the space

either way, it aint gonna be slow

If you wanted to save a few more pennies you could get a 6800gt and clock it to ultra speeds.

It's 6800GT is considered "better" because it's cheaper and it can easily clock to Ultra speeds.

The Ultra is ultimately the daddy because it is fast at stock and costs more.

imo if you're a dedicated gamer you'd want to spend >$100 on some nice headset, preferably with a built-in mike. Unless you're not really into clanwars etc

playing FPP games like CS:S, SOF2, CoD, etc with speakers wont get u far

Well I got surround sound and it's ownage time on CoD with them, all you have to do is have them loud, then you really can hear everything (well, not too loud, but just at a decent volume)
