Re: Gaming Pc Build Advice
You need to change CPU and mobo, everything else has a stupid name. And as we all know, the more stupid the name, the better the component :P
Re: Gaming Pc Build Advice
Thanks for the response mate,
What would you suggest for the CPU and Mobo?
Re: Gaming Pc Build Advice
you might want to think about only using 8gb RAM. For gaming its very unlikely that you'll ever go above 8gb unless you start doing video editing! And the cooler is a bit overkill (you might want to use a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO) apart from that the build looks cool.

Thanks for the response so far.
I just saw this on a website as a bundle :
Intel Core i7 6700K "Skylake", Quad Core & HT
Professionally overclocked up to 4.6GHz
Corsair H80 Hydro Cooler
Asus Z170 Pro Gaming, Intel Z170 Chipset
8GB Corsair Vengeance 3000MHz DDR4
I might go with this and get the Geforce GTX970 to go with it.

Where you find that and how much? That guy should make you happy, if they have it in stock.
Re: Gaming Pc Build Advice
It doesn't make a lot of sense to me to go for expensive but only marginally better stuff like closed loop coolers on Haswell now that Skylake is out. If you're going to go that route then I'd say skylake is a must have - although don't overpay for the 6700k.
Re: Gaming Pc Build Advice
So I decided to push the button on the 6700k Skylake setup.
I'm a bit of a future proof freak and thought this the best option.
Thanks for all your responses people. :)

The 97-P only has a limited number of fan headers. I think it's 3.
