    Quick question - installing DVD-RW

    Hi,

Should I be using a DMA66/100 cable to connect up my new 16x DVD-RW?

or will the DMA33 old style cable do?

    Thanks

    Josh

I would have thought an old cable will do, but you should get some benefit form using newer ones with more sheilding etc.

Yeah- UDMA 33 (40 pin cable) is fine. Even a 16X burner burns a lot less than 33MB/s.

    I have a 3500 and I like it a lot.
