**price Check on 9800pro**

Ok considering selling my 9800 and getting a 6600GT/6800GT [depending on my next paycheck o.O]

Just wondering what its worth in todays market.

Its a hercules 9800pro, fully boxed with everything except the HL2 voucher.

Its fitted with an arctic cooler rev3, and has been soft modded to a 9800XT with zero problems. It can also be clocked higher and still work brilliantly

Why sell? There isn't alot of difference and the mods you've done it'll be running the same/ better than a 6600 GT.

I would say 100-110 with arctic cooler 3 attached.

But as LeeumH said don't sell unless its for a 6800GT or better. Not really worth it.

one reason for selling would be to get rid before everyone starts selling them and the price goes through the floor...

not really sure yet though, as I said depends on my next paycheck, if its big enough i could even get a 6800u - just getting ideas atm

tbh a lot of 6800GT's overclock to around 6800U speeds anyway. I think a GT is your best bet atm. To get an Ultra your paying a big price premium which you probably won't notice when playing.

out of interest, what's a saphire 9800 pro with artic silencer ATI1 (The new one) with everything including original fan worth?

Works as an XT but i put it back because the fan went into high speed mode

Probably £115 including delivery (on ebay) and then £100 on the forums.
