    Re: Watercooling memory

I wouldn't support any voltage increase into the RAM to make water cooling even remotely required.
    Higher than 1.5V into DDR3 is a no-no.
Below or at 1.5V even in a heavily under ventilated case the least of your problems will be your RAM.
But if you would like to make your modules fancy-mancy, water cooling a great way to do so. Like spoilers on a 1.3 Fiat Panda

    Re: Watercooling memory

Memory overclocking has very little benefit outside of synthetic benchmarks.

Any performance gain would be shadowed by potential system stability and creating more flow resistance in your cooling loop potentially having a knock-on effect with temperatures of other components.

Humour is notoriusly challenging via a forum entry, especially when the joke is 'mocking' a subject so many of the members take exceptionally seriously!
But on subject RAM w/c is waste of time imo, spend the money on a second pump a chipset block or a big bunch of flowers for the other half - the latter will go someway to appeasing them for the time you will spend designing, assembling, commissioning and maintaining your loop!
