    Are all SATA drive 8mb?

    As per topic are all SATA drive 8mb? or is it possible to get 2mb ones too?

    Guessing your talking about the cache sizes there... I haven't seen any S-ATA drives with 2mb cache, but why would you want one?

    I'm not aware of any SATA drives with only 2MB cache, but as Mblaster says, why would you want one?

    Probably because they're cheaper, and you're not bothered by really fast performance, but still want the neatness of SATA cabling.
