Best keyboard/mouse for programming and light gaming?

    Any recommendations?

I'm looking at Razer, but am also considering the Microsoft Sculpt bundle.

Depends what you want from it.
    What features do you want?
    Mechanical?
    Backlighting?
    Macro keys?

There isn't one, It comes down to personal preference. If my keyboard were to fail tomorrow then top of my list to consider would be Mattias Ergo Pro, but some people would find it was too loud, or had too much travel, or was rather ugly and old fashioned looking, or didn't have enough lights and sparkly bits.

I'm picky about keyboards though, so I'd generally recommend to other people to go for a cheap mouse (nobody makes mice that last) and spend around £20-30 on a keyboard. I've heard good things about Cherry's Cymotion Expert, but there are also people who absolutely hate it.

Re: Best keyboard/mouse for programming and light gaming?

I had terrible experience with razer, I RMAd 2 ouraboros mice in a span of 2 weeks, in one case for software problems with it, so I switched over to steelseries, no problems since...

    A cheap one.

You are going to knock your pepsi max into it with your slice of pizza because the alternative is to stop gaming and go sit at a dining table, so make it expendable
