Right guys my new SK83G has an appalling fan fitted to it which grinds and makes lots of noise until it warms up. It obviously needs replacing but problem is the size of it. It is 80x80x15mm these are rare fans.

Please does anyone know where I can buy one of these fans or can I fit a more standard sized 80x80x25mm fan to it.

I bought a Panaflow from a site online, superb 23dba that pushes a fair bit of cfm. Give me 20min and I can post the details and a link for you.
thanks for the link Randell, now i just gotta find out if the fans cfm is good enough for my shuttle.

I use a Panaflo High speed (40 cfm) in my sn45g and it's pretty quiet on low speed, although it kicks up to high speed during games - then it's medium noisy but no hairdryer.
Thanks for the info mate

80mm? Check the depth in the SK83G, i think its not the standard 25mm depth So you'd have to bend out the tabs to fit in a standard depth 80mm fan.
Heres a thread i made about it on another forum:
