    I've said it before, but you can't go wrong with a Sharkoon. I've got the Drakonia which is a little over budget, but they have cheaper models that I'm sure will perform well.

    You can also have a look on better ones like razer/steelseries just used, if your are tight on budget second hand itmes are always good choice

    Gigabyte M6900 does it for me. It's cheap, has a polling rate of 1000Hz (my definition of a gaming mouse is 500Hz and up), 3 user-adjustable dpi profiles and 2 thumb buttons. A no frills Windows utility allows you to easily adjust buttons/dpi settings. The only thing they skimped on is the USB cable, which should have been braided IMO.

    My cheapo M6900 is now ~ 3 years old, where as my Steelseries Raw lasted less than a year, before the left-click failed on it.
