    sk-7 and vantec

i have had my sk-7 and vantec (high cfm and sounds like a Harrier!) for quite a while now and just put in my baybus, so it can be 12v or 7v and when its on 7v the temp hardly changes! 1/2 deg maybe!quite disapointing as i dont want to put up with that noise for nothing when its on full. and if it dont make muc diff when its on full i wasted my money on it as i could have got a cheaper fan.
has anybody else found this? or is it just me.
one othe thing i thought it might be was fresh air flow in the case but i dont think it is that as i have 2 in 2 out ys-tech 80mm's.

the vantec tornado which you are speaking of is still a good fan when volt modded...

however many feel the smart fan 2 to be superior...

the smartfan2 is indeed very superior.

i run mine at ~2.5k rpm on slk800, at 5.7k rpm it sounds like a hooover

Vantec's case fans; Tornados are amazingly loud, and the Stealths don't move much air. The Thermalflow may hit the happy medium! I would suggest the Smart Fan 2, it can cool my Barton XP2500+ o/c'ed to 2.0ghz (10% o/c) with only 2000rpm ... it cost me £15 as part of my Volcano11+ which it's still attached to.
