Looking for a PDA and have a few short listed....

Right my parents are putting some money towards a PDA for me for uni and my business but have got it down to a few choices: -

    • HP RX3715 412MHz Media PDA
    • Dell X50 Advanced 520MHz PDA

Both have WiFi and Bluetooth built in and have 128MB memory store and are around £300 at the moment.

Now the Dell has CFII and a SDIO slot so I could always add a camera via CF/SD if I wanted to later that the HP has.

Opinions? Anyone use either of these PDAs?

I know this is none of your choices, but I would seriously consider a VGA screen (Dell X50v, HP 4700). The difference in clarity is amazing, if you are spending that much on a PDA, spend a little bit more and go for the screen with 4x the resolution.

Do Dell do student discounts at all? I am leaning towards to the Dell X50 at the mo and if I could get a student discount I might consider the X50V.

It depends what you want it for really.... One thing often overlooked is battery life, it comes to be your new best friend for PDAs, the more you squeeze before you have to sit it back in its cradle the better

Some PDAs to drool over....and contemplate
