Case And CPU Cooler Suggestions

Hi,

I am looking at upgrading from my Antec 300 case and also Corsair CWCH50-1. So Could someone please advise what would suite my budget best I have the asus sabertooth 990fx r2.0 mobo and AMD 8350 CPU.

I have a budget of around £200.

What's your issue with the H50?

For case + cool £200 opens you up to almost anything, if you want to stick with an all-in-one cooler then you could go for one of the 240rad based ones eg corsair H100i for around the £100 mark or less, which leaves you with £100 for a case and that's a heck of a lot of options.

Corsair H100 series and Carbide 500R case - Match made in heaven!!
Another combo I've seen often is a Corsair 750D (wicked case) with a Noctua heatsink.

Both cases will offer decent features now and for future expansion.
The Coolers are both very good, so it depends on your preference for Air or AIO liquid.
If the latter, I'd suggest the H110i GTX.

Both components are already good enough that you're not going to notice any performance difference from the upgrade so it does come down to specific needs or what you fancy.

Had the H60 for a year, no problems at all, great cooler, but with your budget you can go for something much better I guess.

The h100i is on offer for Scans black friday sale.

That leaves you a cool £130 for a case, recently I have like the looks of the Master Case Pro for Cooler master.

I would heavily recommend the Fractal Design Define R5 - it can fit the biggest air coolers, decent airflow and sound dampening materials - I have the Noctua NH-D15 with room to spare.

Well, then you know which cooler I recommend too, that's around £80 for the case, and £70 for the cooler, but it also fits the H100i just fine.
