Anyone done anything with a Pi Zero yet?

I'm still on the fence, I have something I want to use as a case, I have USB power adapters, I have a wireless keypad/mouse which may or may not work. But I'm struggling to think of a reason to get one, a retro gaming centre perhaps?

I'm interested to see what others have done with theirs

I would have thought that it needs either the low cost (disposable computing?) such as model rocket electronics where there is a good chance you won't see it on one piece again, or more likely the very small size to make the zero the best tool for the job. If something is simply small, then a pi2 would still not break the bank and is more powerful and better connected which makes most things easier to do.

So unless your gaming centre is built into an old Nintendo Advance, or you are going to rack up 10 machines for a small Pi cloud, I would be tempted to stump up the extra £20.

In case you are wondering, I haven't got one yet because I also can't find a use for it

lol, well if it fits in that then fair enough. I presume the £5 for a Pi zero doesn't include postage though? If so I would feel a need to buy a couple of them which just makes for finding more things to do with them

It's actually £4, not £5 .. but minimum postage from the two main sellers is £2.50, so £6.50 delivered if you don't buy anything else.
