Re: Antec AIO Watercoolers
When can we expect to see some benchmarks? Have review units been sent out?
Re: Antec AIO Watercoolers
So far I have only sent out a few units to various resellers and dsitributors.
Our review units that are being flown over to Europe should land in around 10 days.
However the feedback from resellers in the UK and other regions has been very positive.

the fans on the h1200 were quieter and the pump was quieter too [although this is comparing a brand new unit to an old h100i if that makes a difference]
the fact is, the performance was nigh on identical and the h100i was a £110 product when it was current.
for the money, they are bang on. they are made by asetek too which is very reassuring from a build quality point of view.
Re: Antec AIO Watercoolers
Looks good but I don't like the kink tubing..
Re: Antec AIO Watercoolers
Let's hope that these are a better effort than the awful mounting system that the Antec Kuhler H2o 950 had. If it hasn't then these are sunk even before launch.

All I will say is... we learnt! :)
Re: Antec AIO Watercoolers
how much fluid are in these? hopefully a lot more than the egg cup found in others!

would be nice to see a reasonable amount of fluid , as more fluid does help

Haha, well thanks for the honest reply, I'll approach with open mind then. :)
Re: Antec AIO Watercoolers
Hi
Wondered if you could help me
I've just bought an Antec H600, to fit in my Antec 900 Case, however looking at the install pictures the radiator fixes to the case and the fan onto the rad. however the rad will not fit straight to the case due to the shape / size of the case,
but if I fit the fan to the case I could then fit the rad.
So the question is does it matter which side of the rad the fan it fitted
Many Thanks
Peter
Re: Antec AIO Watercoolers
No, you can install the fan either way round. There maybe a small difference in temps doing it various ways, but realistically your temps shouldnt be affect more than 2-3 degrees.

Having just purchased a H1200, I do have to challenge that response!
After over an hour, I finally managed to attach the block to the CPU socket. By then I was so worked up, I would NEVER buy another Antec cooler. The retention mechanism is the worst I have ever had the misfortune of using. Bolts that go all the way from the front to the back ARE A TERRIBLE DESIGN.
You should have 1 set of fixtures to bolt the retention bracket to the board and then another set to bolt the block to the retention bracket.
And then there is the quality of the bolts......one of them cross-threaded very easily and the hex-heads that sit in the retention bracket do not get held firm while you are (attempting) screwing the other half in, making tightening the bolts up very difficult.
Take a look at the Corsair units. That is how a decent retention mechanism works. These Antec units are the most basic attachment possible and it shows...but hey, you probably saved 50cents per unit!
Re: Antec AIO Watercoolers
Thanks for that report Shaitis. I'll be in the market for a decent AIO in a little while and you just made the job of choosing one a little easier since I can now rule out these units.

Sounds like they haven't learnt at all then & I also will strike this from my list of ones to look at.
