    SN41G2 drivers

Slapped my SN41G2 together today (with the exception of the RAM - ebuyer let me down ) and I'm mentally preparing myself for installation etc. I shouldn't have any problems with a Window load, however I was wondering about drivers. I imagine that the ones that came in the box are outdated now - in fact would I have to install them at all or would WinXP do it all for me?

Wow that's perfect thanks. So basically I install XP first - if yellow crosses show up in the devices menu then I fall back on that site?

Having never really played about with it, I'm abit dauted by the bios settings. Is there a page that would explain this all to me please?

    Thanks again!

Even if yellow crosses dont show up just update whatever is available in the shuttle site as far as drivers go. They probably released more stable/efficient/improved drivers even though the provided ones may have no real problems.

I have been pretty ill this weekend, so I'd like to hope I would have thought of that when I was feeling better ...

Cheers for the link, I'll wade through it sometime in the week. Hopefully it'll sink in!

    Thanks again!

Oh, one more random question. I was looking at the mobo manual. Is there any way I can make the wireless emitter (radio) for the keyboard and mouse internal?

The motherboard has a built-in external mouse/keyboard receiver? Or you want to make your existing, unrelated receiver internal within the shuttle case?

The latter. Reading through my mobo manual I came across a connection called 'Wireless KB/MS Header (JP2)', which can 'be used to connected wireless keyboard and mouse devices'. That make any sense?

However it works, I wonder whether there'd be room inside a Shuttle case? No probds though, I think I'm just gonna try and shorten the transmitter cable so it'll sit on the case which is hidden in a cupboard - could all end in tears though methinks...

    Cheers.

Well, im thinking you could take the transmitter chip and ariel (or however it is inside) and just put the bare components inside the case attached by something like blu-tak ( or the equivalent PC modder's stuff). That way you'd get rid of the cumbersome plastic that houses the transmitter. Seems like too much work though
