Dell Optiplex gx240 SFF

Hey all,

I have the above PC which is a Small Form Factor Dell machine. This isnot my main machine but one i "acquired". Now, in the case its in, its useless - cant use different drives, cant stick more hdd's in etc.

I wanna ideally stick this in another case that can be expanded on but not sure cos of size of it all and dell oemness etc.

Any suggestionsz?

any chance of taking a tape measure to the mobo? that will tell us if its truely Dell propriatory....

its definately all dell kit but will need to check whether its one of their own boards n all that stuff

I can tell you now, it is a Dell own board, but they were being made out of alot of factories, including ones owned by asus etc etc.

We use Optiplexes in the office, thats how I know lol
