    A8N-SLI Stock?

Has anyone yet managed to find a place which has these illusive boards in stock since the christmas break?

I've had mine on order at my local supplier since 12th December now! It's getting annoying but just want to know if everywhere is having problems getting the boards.

It's the first SLI mobo to come out (well, to "come out" being it's meant to be delivered soon).

I'm getting it because it seems the obvious way to go with a 939 pin AMD64. I won't actually be using the SLI features myself yet, but maybe in the future. Just imagine running two GeForce 9800GTs in parallel

Grrr damn suppliers say they should be in stock "before the end of the week". Mmmm I don't hold out much hope now. I gotta go back to uni soon too!

I'm also after a an A8N-SLi, but it's even worse for me!

Having spent a few weeks researching various components (mainly on this superb site BTW), I've delayed building my new PC until February. Not a single component (apart from the memory direct from Crucial) is in stock at the 'usual' suppliers (Scan, Komplett, Overclockers, Micro Direct, Dabs, Tekheads etc.). So much for the post-Xmas sales and all those 'Today Only' and 'This Week Only' offers! It is seriously frustrating...

It's funny, I sent Dabs an e-mail asking them when a particular monitor will be in stock (as their stock level for that particular monitor showed zero in stock). They sent me a reply telling me that they don't provide pre-sales or technical support and will not be anwering my query!

Dabs are crap. I don't like then at all. Don't deal with them

IMHO the best supplier is my local one. They have the A8N-SLI at the cheapest price I have seen here in the UK. It's £94.95 exc VAT. I've seen £99.95 elsewhere, but not anywhere else at £94.95. Don't you just want that link now (www.eclipsecomputers.com)

I sure hope this mobo comes in soon. To be fair, some places had them in before christmas, and dabs had a few in, so did scan. They just sent them all out to their back order customers.

Anyways, it's not the end of the world is it!

I think the problem is a lot of us ordered before Xmas and any deliveries are going to back orders...

I looked at the site. They don't appear to be selling any S939 boards at all...

    Hehe.

You have to be in the know to get the 939 boards. Don't follow the popup when you go on Motherboards - just click the actual word "Motherboards" and then you see a link to Socket 939 boards.

It's the A8N-SLI Deluxe. Although their stock code if A8N-SL1 to make it different from the standard A8N-SLI. £94.95 is the price for the deluxe and I'm getting my hands on one on Tuesday "apparantly"...

That's what I did, and again just now without success. Then I tried going via Brands/Asus and finally got there. That price was exc VAT, but if they really have got them in stock then it's still a very good price and people should get in there...

Tekheads have got a good price on the ASUS SLi Deluxe at the moment as its only:

    £110.00 including VAT

Thats the cheapest place i've seen it so far.
