    Question ECS k7s5a 1.0/1.2/1.5 differences HOW TO TELL

    how do i know what model of ECS ELITE 57S5A i have? as ima trying to flash the bios....

    You had a look at the printing on the board? Version number are often on there.

    hmm appears to be 3.1,but on the flashing site (official site) theres like version 1.0 1.x 1.5?:S no 3.1:@ so what one will it be

    God, I used to have a K7S5A (two actually..) And they were the shoddiest-made motherboard I have ever had the displeasure to constantly re-boot windows with. Cheap though...

    I had an K7S5A too. If anything it was definately one of the more stable boards ive owned without a doubt. Infact, my sister is still using it with a Athlon thunderbird 1.4ghz, 3yrs on.

    yeh i was very pleased with it untill i tryed to join my duron 1200's l1 bridges and killed the mobo and duron but its all good as i just bought a soyo dragon kt333 dragon ultra platinum for 15 quiddles so should be an improvement this is only as my second machine mind. i swear by asus... to a7n8x-e deluxe

    ALSO: i found out that the 3.1 has an "XP" logo by the cpu socket...
