    Weird question !

All the ones ive seen will switch the monitor at the same time you switch over to the other machine....ive not seen one that doesnt.
Maybe there is one that is configurable, but ive not seen it ! (doesnt mean they dont exist).
I cant see there being much of a point for one, so i wouldnt imagine they would be marketable to many people !

Oh, if you have 2 seperate monitors, just bypass the KVM switch totaly for them, and just plug the KB and mouse in. Cant see a problem with that.

So you haven't physically got a monitor connected to the KVM? In that case I see no reason why it shouldn't work! Not having a monitor connected to it shouldn't prevent it from still switching the mouse and keyboard over...

    EDIT: Beaten to it...

I have a belkin omniview 2 port kvm with built in cabling at work. Its just used to switch mouse + keyboard, monitors are plugged directly in to the PC's. Think its this model
